Founder & President of Femme Foundation
As the Founder and President of the Femme Foundation Milica leads initiatives that empower women and promote gender equality through education, research, and advocacy.
Key achievements include:
“Montenegrin Women of Today: Roads of Emancipation” project has documented and promoted the stories of over 50 inspiring Montenegrin women through interviews, exhibitions, and public discussions. The project increased visibility of women’s achievements, fostered dialogue on gender equality and promoted narrative of inclusion.
Empowering the next generation of women leaders
The Women Forward Network is a platform dedicated to supporting young women through free mentorship, skill-building workshops, and opportunities to develop meaningful professional connections. The initiative provides guidance and resources to help women navigate their careers and personal growth, fostering confidence, leadership, and long-term empowerment.

Humanitarian work
Merging creativity with education to create opportunity
As part of a pioneering humanitarian effort in Montenegro, a project was launched that integrated art education with literacy development – the first of its kind in the region. The program reached 80 children across eight rural schools in less developed areas of Montenegro, using creativity to improve literacy, self-expression, and confidence among young learners.
Music for Equality
“195 Women” Initiative
Milica Marković was selected to represent Montenegro in a global music initiative promoting gender equality, which was honored with a Guinness World Record for the most inclusive musical recording. In this international project, Milica showcased not only her deep commitment to advancing women’s rights but also her artistic talent as a pianist, using music as a universal language to advocate for equality and inclusion.

Milica has received Bronze in the Emerging Leader Award at the 2025 Women Changing the World Europe Awards.
These Awards, celebrate and recognize women achieving outstanding success in areas such as sustainability, humanitarian work, leadership, advocacy, education, health and innovation.
